The ‘Ball’ is Rolling!
By · CommentsIt’s official! We have ‘kicked’ off our study of balls. A note was sent home on Thursday, September 27th discussing what this study will all entail, and how YOU can get involved. I’ve posted it under the “classroom newsletters” tab for you to see if you’d like. We are welcoming balls of all shapes, sizes, colors and kinds into our classroom. Please make sure you are sending them marked if you’d like them returned to you. Also, keep in mind that we will do our best to play safely and be kind- but sometimes things are broken, and accidents do happen. One of the first things we are exploring is the difference between balls we use outside and inside.
If you have any questions, or any special resources you’d like to offer in relation to our study of balls please let me know!
A Peek Inside!
By · CommentsWelcome Back!
By · CommentsWow! Can you believe that this is our 3rd week of school already!? Things are off to a great start. It is so fun to stand back and watch your children start to interact with other children, start making friendships and see their imaginations explode! We’ve been exploring in the outdoor classroom, and have recently discovered the pumpkins that are growing out there! We have some big ones, and some teeny tiny little ones! Some of them are even still attached to a flower bud! Stay tuned for more updates in our adventures both inside and outside our classroom!
Head Start Parent Meeting
By · CommentsJust a reminder that Shawne Wittrock, our Head Start Family Advocate, will be holding a parent meeting on Tuesday, February 28th at 10:30am in the extra classroom next to Miss Holly’s room.
She will be addressing social/emotional needs of children, parenting tips and techniques, as well as many useful tools to help with some of those problem behaviors.
