Welcome to Ms. Eason’s web page!
Welcome to my website! I will be working on this as the year goes – - please be patient with me.
This year is my 23rd year as a teacher in this district. It will be my 25th year of total teaching experience. While at Panora-Linden I taught 5th grade, 4th grade, and 1st grade. I was also assistant HS volleyball coach. After moving the elementary to Panora, I have spent all of my years at Panorama in a first grade classroom.
My educational background consists of earning my Masters in Ed. Leadership from Viterbo. Prior to that I received my B.S. in Elementary Ed. from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. I received my Associate of Arts degree at Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa. I graduated from high school at the Waukee Comm. School District where I attended K – 12 grades. My father was the superintendent at the Waukee Comm. School. District for 30 years before retiring in 1994. He and I both started our teaching careers in the small southwestern town of Diagonal, Iowa. My mom was a school teacher in a one room school house prior to marrying my father. I have an older brother and an older sister who are currently in the teaching profession. So, as you can see education runs in my bloodline.
My family consists of myself and my two daughters. My oldest daughter, Donna Jo (“DJ”), is 16 and a junior in high school. My youngest daughter, Claire, is 14 and a freshman in high school. I have chosen to open enroll my daughters to Panorama. We travel together daily on our trips back and forth to school. The girls are both on the Panorama volleyball teams. DJ has participated in golf during her freshman and sophomore years.
My top priority is family. Before the year is over, the children in my classroom become like family to me. I want to do what is best for every child in my room. I want every child to succeed. I want to help every family help their child to succeed. Please let me know how I can help your family.
