Interested high school students should see Mrs. Arganbright if they would like to take AP courses online next year. The courses offered include: English Literature, English Structure, History, Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, and Government. Students should let Mrs. Arganbright know if they would like to take these classes by the end of the school year.
On April 14, Panorama Middle School took seven teams to compete in the Battle of the Books. One of our teams qualified for the final round, so cogratulations to Ben, Guy, Jensen, and Carson!
7th and 8th grade students will participate in the Central Iowa Knowledge Bowl at Merle Hay Mall today, April 26. Our middle school had two of our teams qualify for this event.
The 7th and 8th Grade Literacy Skills group will travel to Ames on Friday, December 2 to watch the play A Christmas Carol at CY Stephens Auditorium.
Once again, we have been invited to take six students to the Space Settlement Design Competition at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The competition is in March. A pool of about twenty students in 10-12 grades will be selected in December by a team of high school teachers to write a letter of self-nomination. From that pool, six students will be chosen by the high school teachers to go to the competition.
